Planners need to stay abreast of planning developments. In this training series, the discussion will technical and geared to the practicing planner. Speakers will provide case studies and assessments of planning techniques that further the field. Attendees will gain the most from this series if they follow preparation instructions and do the readings for the program. This series is presented by the American Institute of Certified Planners. 

These Conferences provide free and convenient local training to planners, planning officials, researchers, students, and allied groups.
 
This program helps AICP planners meet their Certification Maintenance (CM) requirements and counts toward the planning law requirement (1.5 credits per reporting period).
 
All AICP members need to earn 32 CM credits by the end of 2009 to maintain their AICP status
